Short or long-term face to face counselling in Sittingbourne.

I offer a safe, neutral and welcoming space for you to sort out your thoughts and work through what is troubling you at a pace which suits you. I would like to help you to feel more satisfied with your life and the direction it is going in, and more able to manage the difficulties you are facing. I hope to build a relationship with you where you feel supported, free to be yourself, and able to say whatever you need to. I work from a local community centre in the middle of town as well as a ground floor therapy space in my home about 1.5 miles from the town centre.

I can be reached by email or phone. If you phone, I may not be able to answer your call immediately – so please leave a voicemail message if you would like me to call you back. Out of consideration for your privacy, I cannot call back if you do not leave a voicemail or text message asking me to. Please ensure you have said your phone number when leaving a voicemail if you would like me to call you.  My office hours are given on my website.

Diploma in Integrative Counselling via a BACP-accredited course
I have experience in a number of areas, including but not limited to anxiety (particularly general anxiety disorder and social anxiety), low self-confidence/self-esteem, anger, depression, bereavement, stress, family issues and self/body image. I have a particular interest in working with people with disabilities – particularly those with “invisible” neurological disabilities such as fibromyalgia, hypermobility, CFS/ME and chronic pain.  These illnesses are very real with numerous debilitating symptoms, but the mental and emotional impacts of living with these conditions can be worked with in counselling.
